For years, I confined myself to pencil sketches, comfortably staying within my artistic comfort zone. However, life eventually interrupted my creative pursuits, and I found myself not drawing for many years. It was in 2006 that I decided to rediscover my artistic tendencies. Breaking free from the constraints of habit, I embarked on a journey of exploration, venturing into different mediums and immersing myself in countless hours of YouTube videos to learn various styles and techniques.

Through this process, I have discovered that I have a profound preference for pastels above all other mediums. The control they offer resonates back to my graphite drawing days, but pastels provide me with even more opportunities for blendability and vibrant expressions. It's within the realm of pastels that I have found my artistic voice.

These days, my specialty lies in capturing the beauty of seascapes and the spirit of animals through my paintings. I find deep fulfillment in creating heartfelt portraits of beloved pets, celebrating their lives and bringing joy to their owners when they see their cherished companions immortalized on canvas.

There is a unique and heartfelt connection that emerges when an owner sees their beloved pet looking back at them, seemingly coming back to life on the canvas. Witnessing the joy on their faces is an immeasurable gift to me—one that cannot be bought.

So, I find myself on an artistic journey, continually exploring the possibilities of pastels and seeking to immortalize the essence of the natural world and cherished animal companions.
